Each month our BEAR Rooms provide approximately 3,000 abused, neglected, and at-risk children with essential items. Sometimes, the difference between a child who goes to school and one who doesn’t is a pair of shoes, a notebook, and a pencil. Oftentimes, the difference between an infant who is healthy and one who isn’t is formula or diapers/wipes. BEAR ensures that this special population of children will not have to go another day without things that we all take for granted.
Start your drive by choosing an item (or items) from the list below. Tailor your drive around a certain theme or even start a challenge between different departments in your office. Help us continue to keep our shelves stocked by hosting a drive TODAY! Hosting a drive is also a wonderful way to earn community service credit for any students that are seeking volunteer hours!
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you choose to host a drive, please make sure that this Virtual Volunteer Form is completed and attached to your donation when it is dropped off at BEAR HQ. Hosting a #BEARCares Drive is as easy as 1, 2, 3! #BEARCares Drives are vital to the work we do each and every day! Year-round donations are critical to keeping our necessity rooms stocked and ready for each child that comes through, no matter the day, time, or season!
Our BEAR Rooms are supplied with critically needed items such as formula, diapers & wipes, NEW clothing, pajamas, hygiene supplies, and more! BEAR asks that any donated goods remain unopened and have never been used or worn. We encourage individuals, community members, churches, and local businesses to host a drive to help fill these various needs.
