Embodying the spirit of Texas, BEAR proudly announces its annual flagship fundraiser of the year “Stetsons & Stilettos” will be held on October 6, 2024, at The Revaire. This event is dedicated to championing BEAR’s mission of providing hope and help for at-risk and CPS-involved children and their caretakers in the greater Houston area.

Where: The Revaire, 7122 Old Katy Rd, Houston, TX 77024
Visuals: Live music, dancing, wine and liquor pulls, jewelry, silent auction, live auction, raffle, and captivating live painting
Attire: Rodeo-style (including boots, cowboy hat, turquoise jewelry, etc.)
The 2024 presenting sponsor is Kinetik, and the event is chaired this year by an all-star team: Lindsey & John Hohlt, Paula & Johnathan Jones, Iva & Cutris Knobbe, and Sierra & Raj Mansukhani. “Stetsons & Stilettos” aims to surpass $500,000 raised last year with more than 700 attendees, which is 200 more than the previous year. These funds are the lifeblood of BEAR’s endeavors, enabling them to provide essential resources like clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, and car seats.

This funding makes a real difference in their lives, and we couldn’t be more grateful,” said Tammy Hetmaniak, Executive Director of BEAR.
Guests can look forward to a seated dinner featuring protein dishes prepared and donated by restaurateur, Benjamin Berg, founder of Berg Hospitality Group. Maven Coffee and Cocktails will be shaking things up with signature cocktails for the night and sending guests home with a sweet treat from Crave Cupcake.
Lindsey Leigh Jewelry, known as The Houston Diamond Girl, will have a special experience for attendees, while, the generous Kendra Scott is sponsoring a Jewelry Pull, adding extra sparkle to an already dazzling night. Artists Taft McWhorter and his wife, Dana, will be live-painting throughout the event while Houston folk/country music duo The Magnolia Brothers performs live music. Guests will also enjoy the Branded Hat Bar, where they can create custom hats in the Whiskey Lounge. Tenenbaum Jewelry is bringing a special furry friend to add some fun and flair to the evening. Attendees can also participate in the Silent Auction and the exciting Live Auction led by Johnny Bravo.
