Volunteers make BEAR possible!
BEAR provides a variety of volunteering opportunities for individuals and groups. If one of the opportunities isn’t exactly right for you, contact us and we’ll work together to find something that is.
There is always a way to get involved in helping the abused and neglected children we serve. We have a variety of opportunities for individuals, families and groups to volunteer, from one-time events to regularly scheduled volunteer hours. If you are looking for a specific way to help, see the current opportunities listed on this page. We are always open to your ideas and suggestions!
Get involved with friends and peers to help CPS kids and the Caseworkers that support them! Opportunities include: restocking and organizing BEAR rooms, hosting Caseworker Appreciation events, and helping with all BEAR programs as exclusive volunteers.
2019 Spring Family Day!
Join us at our inaugural Family Day, held at BEAR HQ! We welcome all ages, young and old, to be a part of a day dedicated to creating hygiene packs for the children BEAR serves in various BEAR Rooms throughout the area. BEAR encourages everyone to bring any 1 (or 5!) hygiene item(s) listed here in order to prepare packs for children newborn to 18 years that would otherwise not have these basic necessities. To sign up for this experience, visit this link!
