FOSTER/ADOPT INFORMATION MEETINGS
Join our monthly meetings designed to educate individuals and families about the process, requirements, and responsibilities involved in fostering or adopting a child.
For families residing outside of Texas to be considered to adopt a child currently in our foster care system, you must be approved to adopt through an agency in your state that has a contract or is willing to contract with the state of Texas. This is necessary for the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children (ICPC) to be completed. You can find more information on ICPC adoptions at State Care ICPC and Out of State Adoptions.
