9th Annual BEAR the Load Luncheon

The 9th annual BEAR the Load Luncheon was held on April 29, 2009 at the River Oaks Country Club. The featured speaker Rosalind Wiseman, New York Times best selling author of Queen Bees & Wannabees and Queen Bee Moms and Kingpin Dads entertained as well as educated the crowd of over 350. BEAR honored current board member, Kim Mason Strange with the Catherine Mosbacher Founders Award for her tireless and dedicated work.

 

Luncheon chair, Katherine Tower worked tirelessly to make the luncheon a great success. Katherine Tower and her committee members helped raise more than $130,000 to benefit BEAR. Two adorable "bees" Emma Gilliam and Tisha Moore buzzed around selling raffle tickets.  Thanks to all of them for a magnificent job.
